First of all you need to ensure that you have all the necessary supplies to be able to do a great job. You will need at least some of these items: a good furniture polish, a window cleaner, bathroom cleaner, a supply basket or caddy, a dust mop, a floor mop preferably of wood, a grout brush, a small toothbrush for tiny crevices, a good bathroom cleaner, also an antibacterial cleaner for taking care of those germs, Clorox or some other bleach, various other mops, a step ladder and a couple of different types of cleaning cloths. At the minimum you will need these, but the more tools and equipment you have, the better a job you can do for your client. Better job = more satisfied customer = more job opportunities for you.

It is very important to do a first good impression with your first cleaning jobs as word of mouth is a strong and powerful element in making sure that you get the next job, and the next, and the next, until you are set with a good customer base that will constantly need your services.
